Biography

Ana Arévalo, with an M.Sc. in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) and a Master's in Management Development (PMD®) from ESADE Business & Law School, has 20+ years of naval, logistics, and port management experience. Ana is the Head of the Shorepower Department of the Port of Barcelona.

The Port of Barcelona has embarked on an ambitious plan to develop dock electrification, known as Nexigen, with the aim of providing ships with renewable electrical energy during their time in port.
