Biography

Cícero Lucena was born in São José de Piranhas on August 5, 1957. A businessman in the construction industry, he grew up in Paraíba, started a family, and took on prominent roles in both Paraíba and the country. He has served as governor, minister, mayor, and senator. He is currently the mayor of João Pessoa.
